The Grosset & Dunlap Companion Library edition of Jack and Jill is a classic piece of mid-century book publishing. Note on Dating: Grosset & Dunlap didn't always update the copyright year on the title page. Even if it says "1880," that is the original copyright; the Companion Library series itself primarily ran from the early 1960s through the 1970s.
