Glasses are in mint condition, neatly packed in its original branded box. Huta Szkła Gospodarczego "Zawiercie" was a renowned Polish glass manufacturer with a long and rich history. Founded by Andrzej Chmielowski in the 19th century, with the earliest documented records dating back to 1880. The factory's operations were interrupted by World War I but resumed in 1918. After World War II, the company was nationalized in 1945 and renamed the "State Factory of Glass Products in Zawiercie." In the post-war era, the company began to focus more on lead crystal products.
