An antique Indian carved wooden Damachiya dowry cabinet mounted on wooden wheels. Circa 19th century. Polychrome décor and rustic character. This exquisite cabinet captivates with its intricate craftsmanship and polychrome décor. Remarkable example of traditional Indian artistry, featuring a perfectly organised facade composed of carved square shaped panels adorned with geometric motifs and metal strips. Panels alternate in red and blue hues, although much faded due to age. The front side houses two doors, which open to reveal an interior cabinet, also with two doors and a shelve above the interior cabinet to store treasured items.
