Lot includes only the Queen's chair. Traditional Zulu royal chairs, especially those for the King and Queen, are more than just seating; they are powerful symbols of authority, lineage, and deeply rooted in Zulu cultural heritage. While perhaps less overtly "throne-like" than the King's, the Queen's chair would still symbolize her authority, dignity, and her vital role in the royal family and nation.. This is a large oversized chair with two intricately carved lion heads at the end of the armrests, the backrest features an elaborate hand carved scene of a lion in the nature, and the headrest with an intricate carving as well. The chair has chunky carved legs and lion's feet, with upholstered leopard print seats and armrests covered with plastic to protect the upholstery. Plastic on one armrest is damaged, but upholstery in good condition. Dimensions: Total height: 148cm x 84cm (w). Seat height 55cm (h)
