Set of oil paintings on framed canvas, both featuring paintings titled "Portrait of Jeanne Hébuterne", after Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani (copies of his work). Jeanne Hébuterne was Modigliani's common-law wife and a painter in her own right, and she was a frequent subject of his portraits. The origianl was painted in 1919 as part of a series of works featuring Jeanne. The canvas paintings shows signs of age, like the colors have dulled over time. Canvas slightly relaxed/loose, it has lost some of its original tension. Paintings likely painted in the mid-50's, and despite it's age, they are delightful with character. Dimensions: 28cm x 22cm
