Scottish piper’s sporran, a classic example of Highland ceremonial dress, measuring 45cm in length. Traditionally worn as part of a full military or pipe band uniform, horsehair sporrans like this one evolved from the functional leather pouches of the 1700s into elaborate regalia during the Victorian era to reflect the prestige of Highland regiments. This piece features a striking cream horsehair body accented by two long black horsehair tassels suspended from ornate silver-toned cones. The top is finished with a decorative embossed metal cantle and a cream leather backing stamped "Made in Scotland, Real Leather."
