A Cattistock hound is a member of the Cattistock Hunt's pack of Foxhounds.They belong to the Cattistock Hunt, which is a traditional British hunt based in West Dorset, England, with roots tracing back to the 1780s. They are specifically Foxhounds. The Cattistock Hounds are carefully bred to enhance the strong qualities of the foxhound, looking for good nose, conformation, stamina, and a biddable nature.
