Likely from the late 19th or early 20th century. The lantern features clear glass panels and a brass body with a carrying loop. It's an oil burning lamp with a reservoir burner mechanism and wick inside. These lamps were used on horse-drawn carriages or as general porch lights. Can be wall mounted as well.
