The shroud is made of cloth with ornate embroidered details and a ruffled neckline. It would have been placed over the deceased while being laid to rest on a cooling board or in a coffin. Considered a unique antique collectible, which would have been salvaged from a premised used by undertakers during the Victorian and Edwardian periods. Framed in a large wood frame with brass corner fixtures. Dimensions: 86cm x 70cm
