The series was produced by Royal Doulton from approx 1909 to 1940. There are nine plates in the full series, of which these two are "The Admiral" D6278 and "The Mayor" D6283 of the series. The plates feature hand-tinted portraits of various British professional figures in full regalia. No chips, cracks or damage to report.
