Eli Weinberg's book, Portrait of a People: A Personal Photographic Record of the South African Liberation Struggle, is a significant work that documents the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa. Many of the images were taken between 1946 and 1963. The book was published in 1981 by the International Defence and Aid Fund for Southern Africa, a year after Weinberg's death.
