The Victorian Grandfather and Grandmother chairs are iconic pieces often found in "Parlor" or "drawing room" suites. Made from solid wood, likely cedar or walnut. They feature the classic S-shaped "cabriole" legs, and deep button-back upholstery. In the 19th century, they were stuffed with horsehair or hay. The chairs are fairly heavy in weight. Solid and sturdy frames with age related surface wear - light scratches and scuff marks due to age and use. PLEASE NOTE: The upholstery is not in good shape, please take a look up closely. Tears and damage.
