Circa 19th century Victorian burr-walnut writing box. The box does have some wear and tear, but with a bit of TLC you will have a very unique piece from a bygone era. The exterior features brass bound straps (front is missing). It features multiple secret compartments and a pen tray. It appears the box was forced open - see photos but can be restored.
