The 10th edition of the Encyclopædia Britannica was not a standalone, complete revision of the entire work, but rather a substantial supplement to the 9th edition. It was published in 1902–1903 and was designed to update the previous edition, which had been in circulation since the 1870s and 1880s. Set is not complete with all the volumes, and the encyclopedia's are fragile and brittle with damage.
