Styled in a classic nautical ship’s wheel design, it features an exposed brass mechanism center framed by a white register dial with traditional Gothic script weather markings. Manufactured in Western Germany, reflecting post-WWII European precision instrument craft. Good vintage condition overall with light, natural age-related wear. The brass handles and bezel exhibit minor oxidation and light tarnishing consistent with age. The glass dial face is clear and intact without cracks or major scratches. The wooden helm housing is well-preserved. On the reverse, a red hanging wire has been added for display, and the internal mechanism appears intact with expected surface patina on the rear cover.
