This lot features a set of four vintage Chinese ceramic wine bottles, originally produced for the Meizhi brand in the late 1970s to early 1980s in Shenzhen, China. These distinctive "flask-style" vessels are designed with a two-tone aesthetic, featuring a rich brown-glazed neck and shoulder that transitions into a creamy white body molded with a realistic basket-weave or "wicker" texture. Each bottle displays a central embossed cartouche with Chinese characters and is stamped on the base with the "Meizhi" mark. Historically, these bottles are synonymous with the early industrial growth of the Shenzhen special economic zone and were popular export items for traditional Chinese spirits. While the bottles are now empty, they remain in good vintage condition, showing only light surface wear and some aging to the original gold-tone screw caps and labels, making them excellent decorative accents for a bar or a specialized collection of Asian tobacciana and spirits memorabilia.
