An evocative contemporary studio sculpture depicting a stylized human torso crafted from a textured reconstituted stone composite, giving it the appearance and grain of weathered natural rock while remaining fairly lightweight. The piece features applied metal adornments, including a Y-necklace piece and an ornate arm cuff/bicep band, mounted on a custom black metal display stand. Drawing inspiration from African tribal body art and ancient archeological fragments, this expressive work presents a striking blend of raw stone-like textures and forged metal details.
