An evocative modern Expressionist portrait depicting a seated seated figure in a contorted pose with emotive color blocking and stark contrasts. Executed with expressive brushstrokes and rich impasto textures, the composition balances deep shadowy earth tones against vibrant passages of red, blue, and cream. A striking contemporary work ideal for collectors of figurative, modern, or avant-garde visual art. Good vintage condition overall with age-appropriate wear. Light paint loss along the bottom edge and minor wear to the corners and perimeter edges. Surface shows intentional heavy texture and impasto work. Dimensions: 88.5 cm x 64 cm
