This is a striking set of six Mid-Century Modern dining chairs, manufactured by Elliotts of Newbury. They were a prominent British furniture manufacturer based in Berkshire, England. Originally founded in 1870 as a joinery works, they shifted into high-quality furniture production after the World War periods. Many of their mid-century pieces, including these, were heavily influenced by Danish Modern aesthetics. In fact, some of their most famous chair designs were created "after" the styles of renowned Danish designers like Arne Vodder. .he blue and white square logo you see is the classic EoN trademark used throughout the 1960s. The chairs feature warm teak wooden frames and their original vibrant blue textured upholstery. The design showcases the era’s signature aesthetic with clean, tapered lines, elegant bentwood backs, and a comfortable, ergonomic silhouette that blends functionalism with organic warmth. These chairs would serve as a bold statement piece in any contemporary or vintage-inspired dining space. The set is in good vintage condition with sturdy frames. The wood shows some light surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with age, and while the upholstery remains intact and usable, there is some mild fading.
