This striking vintage alembic distillation still is crafted from hammered brass, featuring decorative repoussé or beaded banding around the main cylindrical body. The two-piece assembly comprises a substantial boiling pot with a lower side spout and a matching helm (or onion head) fitted with a prominent, tapered condensing spout. Displaying a wonderful warm patina and characterful hand-worked details, the piece is structurally sound with visible seams and solder points consistent with its traditional manufacturing style. It remains in good vintage condition, showing minor surface wear, tarnish, and small indentations appropriate for its age and use.
