This auction lot features a striking pair of vintage West German ceramic vases, each standing 18cm tall and showcasing an elegant twin-spouted, flared rim design. Finished in a glossy, light turquoise-blue base glaze, the vases are decorated with abstract, hand-painted streaks of green, dark grey, and vibrant orange splat motifs, all accented by elegant gold-gilt trim along the rims and circular bases. The underside of the pottery bears an impressed West German form number (562-18) along with handwritten inventory markings. Both pieces present in very good vintage condition with excellent glaze clarity, vibrant coloration, and only minor, age-appropriate shelf wear and light scuffing on the unglazed base rings.
