This fine bone china cabinet plate by Royal Albert features the "Autumn" scene from the Cottage Garden Year Series, decorated with original artwork by F.E. Errill dating to 1984. The central image depicts an idyllic English thatched countryside cottage during harvest time, framed by a delicate border of autumnal berries, foliage, and blossoms with a scroll-molded rim. The reverse displays the official Royal Albert backstamp alongside the evocative stanza: "Sleepy dawns the glistening sun / Reflecting dewy glades / The peace of fields whose work is done / Autumn’s beauty shades." Excellent vintage cabinet condition with vibrant colors and crisp backstamp details. Free of chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Dimensions: 21cm diameter
