An elegant late Victorian/Edwardian fish cutlery set housed in its original fitted wooden presentation case with a blue velvet interior. The set features silver-plated engraved blades and tines, fitted with hallmarked sterling silver collars (ferrules) and smooth faux-ivory/celluloid handles. The ferrules bear British sterling silver hallmarks, including the Sheffield Crown, Lion Passant standard mark, and maker's initials. Incomplete set consisting of 23 pieces total (missing one fish knife to make a full set of 24). The silver-plated blades and tines show age-appropriate tarnish, surface scratches, and wear to the plating. The sterling silver ferrules are intact with clear hallmarks. Handles display minor discolouration consistent with age and use. The fitted wooden presentation case shows external scuffing, edge wear, and loss to the central brass shield, while the interior velvet lining exhibits dust and minor wear.
