This is an authentic antique No. 2 cast iron farm bell manufactured by the renowned C.S. Bell Co. of Hillsboro, Ohio. Measuring 40cm in height with a 42cm diameter, the bell is mounted on its original cast iron yoke which clearly displays the manufacturer’s embossed lettering. It features a weathered, rustic patina with a visible horizontal hairline crack across the waist and significant surface oxidation and pitting consistent with age and outdoor exposure. Despite the structural crack, the bell retains its original clapper and serves as a striking piece of historical Americana or a unique garden focal point.
