This vintage earthenware serving platter was produced by Swinnertons of Staffordshire, England, as part of their "Majestic Vellum" line. The piece features a charming transfer-ware design of colorful budgerigars (parakeets) perched on berry-laden branches against a cream-colored ground. It is designed with a subtly scalloped rim and integrated handles accented with teal detailing.
