A finely detailed, hand-painted porcelain sculpture titled "The Cape Robin" (Cossypha caffra), issued in 1983 by Heritage Porcelain to commemorate the centenary of famous South African ornithologist Dr. Austin Roberts (1883–1948). The lifelike figure depicts the bird perched atop a textured branch surrounded by delicate floral accents, mounted on a polished wooden display base. The underside bears the official Heritage Porcelain stamp along with the edition reference "NO 32", and the lot includes its original certificate of authenticity dated 30 June 1983.
