Originally conceived by industrial designer Henry P. Glass in 1941 to address wartime material shortages, the iconic hairpin leg became a defining staple of Mid-Century Modern design. This set of four legs is crafted from bent solid steel rod welded to pre-drilled L-shaped mounting plates, complete with protective rubber foot caps. Their minimalist, utilitarian form provides sturdy support while maintaining a clean, open silhouette, making them ideal for custom coffee tables, benches, or credenzas.
Dimensions: 41cm h
The set is in very good condition with light, minor surface wear consistent with age and gentle handling.
