An authentic vintage British brass miner's safety lamp manufactured by The Wolf Safety Lamp Co. (Maurice) Ltd., Sheffield. The bonnet features an applied brass maker's plate marked "RUTHERFORD APPROVAL CERTIFICATE G.M.B. No. 1 WOLF LAMP TYPE 7RMBS," while the collar is stamped "THE WOLF SAFETY LAMP CO. (WM MAURICE) LTD SHEFFIELD WOLF TYPE FG." Built with a heavy brass casing, protective cage pillars, glass cylinder, and an integrated suspension hook, this classic piece of industrial mining heritage served as both an illumination tool and a combustible gas detector underground.

The lamp is in good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear, minor tarnishing, and residue around the base mechanism, retaining an attractive polished patina and intact glass.
