This striking vintage ceramic baluster-form vase features a rich, glossy emerald green glaze beautifully contrasted by an elegant, hand-painted gold gilt floral sprig on the front and a gilded rim. The base bears a handwritten inscription reading "HAND-PAINTED," which, alongside the style and unrefined clay foot, strongly points to a mid-20th-century European origin (likely Italian or West German art pottery from the 1950s to 1970s). Standing at 33cm tall, the vase presents in very good vintage condition with excellent glaze stability and minimal wear to the vibrant central gilding; however, there is notable rubbing and minor loss to the gold trim along the top rim, consistent with age and gentle display.
