The pieces range in hue from pale lilac and amethyst tones to earthy citrine and smoky shades, with several displaying the classic multi-terminated structure typical of South African deposits. While the specimens retain their natural, unpolished state with distinct crystalline formations, there are visible signs of iron staining and embedded host rock on many pieces, along with minor abrasions and chipped terminations consistent with the extraction process of raw minerals.
