An impressive vintage Rococo-style floor lamp stand, sturdily constructed from heavy cast brass with an aged, deep bronze-toned patina. The standard features a beautifully detailed, multi-tiered turned column adorned with repeating ornate leaf motifs, leading down to a substantial, wide-flaring tripod base with classic scrolling acanthus leaves. Standing at a substantial height of 143.5cm and weighing 7.8kg, it offers excellent stability. The item is in solid vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age, showing brilliant genuine brass underneath its natural oxidation. It is fitted with an older brass bayonet bulb holder and retains its internal wiring, though it will require a plug, testing, or rewiring prior to use, and is sold without a shade.
