This lot features a charming pair of vintage, South African-made ceramic advertising jugs for Sedgwick's Old Brown Sherry, consisting of a standard 750ml jug and a larger 4.5-litre commemorative centenary jug celebrating "The Original" 1886–1986 milestone. Both pieces display a classic two-tone glazed design featuring an earthy stoneware base decorated with maritime imagery of Table Bay and a rich, high-gloss brown shoulder and handle. The reverse or base stamp, visible on the larger jug, identifies the craftsmanship as "G.C. Ware / Made in R.S.A." Both items present in excellent vintage condition with vibrant graphics, no visible cracks or heavy crazing, and include their original cork stoppers.
