This charming five-piece nesting doll (Matryoshka) set features a vibrant blue base decorated with hand-painted floral and strawberry motifs. Originating as a traditional Russian folk art staple, such sets are traditionally turned from linden or birch wood and meticulously hand-finished.

Good vintage condition. The paint remains bright and intact across all five nesting pieces, with smooth opening and closing of the sections.
