This vintage acoustic-electric guitar features a single cutaway thinline body adorned with a figured wood veneer in an amber gloss finish. Crafted in South Korea during the 1990s as part of Takamine’s performance line, it comes fitted with an integrated Takamine active gain/EQ preamp system. The lot includes a fitted black hard-shell plush-lined Ibanez guitar case for safe storage and transport. Jasmine by Takamine was created as a subsidiary line by the renowned Japanese guitar maker Takamine, which was founded in 1962 near Mount Takamine in Sakashita, Japan. Takamine pioneered early electro-acoustic guitar design and earned international acclaim among professional musicians for its innovative under-saddle pickups and onboard preamps. During the 1990s, Takamine introduced the Jasmine line—manufacturing models in South Korea and other facilities—to offer emerging and performing musicians accessible instruments that retained Takamine's signature body shapes, playability, and integrated acoustic-electric amplification technology. The guitar is in good pre-owned visual and physical state, showing light surface marks, minor scuffs, and small signs of usage consistent with age. The fretboard, frets, and body bindings remain intact, while the battery compartment and slide EQ controls are complete. The included hardshell case shows minor exterior scuffing and hardware wear, but all latches and internal plush lining remain in good functional condition. Dimensions: Guitar: 101.5 cm L
