An authentic mid-to-late 20th-century studio stoneware vase produced by Liebermann Pottery, Johannesburg, South Africa. Founded in the 1950s by London-trained ceramicists Sammy and Mary Liebermann, the pottery studio became celebrated for pioneering organic studio pottery heavily influenced by Anglo-Oriental traditions. This wheel-thrown vase displays a lovely multi-toned drip glaze featuring earth tones of ochre, sage, and deep brown over an off-white stoneware body, accented with impressed roulette detailing around the lower shoulder and foot. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Features the original paper studio maker's label on the base alongside an impressed studio seal mark. Dimensions: 13cm h
