Crafted in the iconic Tang Dynasty style, this monumental ceramic horse features classic sancai (three-color) lead-glazed lead decoration in vibrant green, amber-brown, and cream glazes. The caparisoned horse stands proudly on a rectangular plinth, featuring expressive detailing including molded grotesque facial medallions along the trappings, a draped saddle, and a striped mane. Decorative pieces of this exceptional scale were popular export revival items throughout the mid-to-late 20th century. Good vintage condition overall with age-appropriate surface wear. Intact structure with characteristic fine glaze crazing (crackle) and minor glaze runs throughout. No cracks or evidence of modern structural restoration visible.
