This antique Middle Eastern or Ottoman-style sahan pan features a traditional hammered copper body with a hand-tinned interior, designed for both cooking and serving. The interior base is uniquely shaped with five circular indentations—often used for poaching eggs or portioning mezze—and displays a decorative floral-stamped rim. Twin ornate brass or bronze handles are securely riveted to the sides, adding to its rustic, utilitarian charm.
Condition: The pan is in fair antique condition with a heavy natural patina and significant wear to the tinning, exposing the copper underneath. There are visible surface scratches and minor indentations consistent with age and regular use. Dimensions: 28cm (width without handles) x 33.5cm (width with handles) x 7cm (h)
