A large, ornate solid brass mantel clock with Italian marble, defined by its symmetry, rope garlands, and a neoclassical gilt metal satyrs (fauns) figure. The clock's face dial is branded Imperial, a trademark born in 1966 that specialized in faithful reproductions of ancient drawings. While the exterior is Italian, the mechanical "heart" of the clock is almost always German—specifically by Franz Hermle. Includes its original key. PLEASE NOTE: This clock has a few imperfections such as right back foot is broken off, no glass panel on the front door, right side cherub figure is missing, left side rope garland is missing, and left foliage also missing. Remains an impressive piece manufactured between 1960s and 1970 in Italy. The clock has not been tested, likely not working and may require repairs but not sure. Dimensions: 60cm (h) x 36cm (l) x 19.5cm (w)
