Thumb moulded top edge on a chunky round column and tripod base with hand carved lion paw feet and castors. The tripod base is veneer, with some veneer chips - see photos. The top is removable and fits onto base with a brass latch for tilt top. Absolutely stunning! The base where to top is fitted is engraved with the letter "N". Circa late 19th century. Dimensions: 73cm (h) x 119cm diameter table top.
