Mario Cerreti was an Italian sculptor known for producing detailed, figurative animal sculptures primarily in 800 Continental Silver. His work is associated with the Mid-Century Modern style and often dates to the 1950s–1970s, with many pieces originating from the silverworking city of Arezzo, Italy. The sculpture is mounted on a precious stone base. PLEASE NOTE: Whilst we are unable to identify an artist signature and hallmark on this figurine, we are almost certain it's from the same artist as Lot 1 (which is signed and hallmarked).
