This vintage, African-inspired table sculpture features two stylized faux tusks arching upward to meet at a central rope-style knot, each adorned with a detailed, cast elephant head. While the piece mimics traditional mid-20th century brass or bronze African tourist art, a closer look at the texturing reveals it is crafted from a durable, heavy composite resin material finished in a warm, antiqued metallic gold/brass patina. The sculpture is mounted securely onto a tiered, dark-stained wooden plinth base featuring a textured metallic collar with geometric, African-inspired chevron reliefs. It is presented in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks to the resin, and only minor surface dust and light age-related wear to the wooden base.
