This charming two-piece Victorian-style garden bistro set includes a cast iron chair with an intricate acanthus leaf and motif backrest alongside a matching circular stool or low table. Both pieces feature openwork radial pattern seating and ornate scrollwork aprons supported by cabriole-style legs. Finished in a heavily layered distressed white paint, this set offers classic period garden character and enduring cast metal construction. Presents in original vintage condition with deliberate architectural patina and characterful surface distress. Heavy white paint finish exhibits chipping, paint loss, and visible surface rust/oxidation throughout, particularly along the chair seat and backrest frame. There is a small crack to the right of the ornate backrest frame, though the backrest remains stable and fully functional. The chair backrests have undergone historic repairs where damaged or fractured casting sections were trimmed down and finished off, resulting in backrests that are slightly reduced in overall scale compared to the original foundry design. Overall structural integrity remains sound across both solid cast iron frames. Dimensions: Chair: 75 cm H x 38 cm seat diameter; Stool/Table: Approx. 40 cm H x 38 cm top diameter
