A stylish modern desk globe featuring a subtle silver-grey and ice-blue cartographic color palette with crisp black political labeling. Set on a bronzed metal semi-meridian axis with a top time dial and supported by a turned pedestal base, this piece serves as both an educational globe and a refined decorative accent. The map detail features historical geopolitical boundaries such as Zaire (renamed DR Congo in 1997), giving it retro geopolitical interest within a contemporary design. Overall excellent visual and structural condition. The printed globe surface is clean and intact with vibrant, legible printing and no significant scuffs or peeling. The bronzed metal arc, time dial, and pedestal base display minor surface patina and faint oxidation consistent with gentle display. Spins smoothly on its axis. Dimensions: Approx. 25cm w x 25cm d x 36cm h
