This handsome pair of solid cast brass bookends features stylized equestrian horse heads reminiscent of classic chess knight pieces set upon rounded bulbous pedestals. Crafted in mid-20th-century Hollywood Regency style, these pieces exhibit rich polished surfaces and expressive, detailed manes and facial features. The bookends are in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and light surface scratches throughout. Both pieces stand sturdy and retain their solid structural integrity. Dimensions: 20 cm (H) x 11 cm (L)
